Each party is required to pay for their portion of the two-hour mediation session prior to the mediation session. District 1 has set this at $165 for each party, unless there is a reduced rate through court order for one or both parties. The mediator will contact each party, including their attorney's, about the location and time set.
All mediations will be done through zoom by clicking the following button. Once the mediations are completed and an exact time is known, a PayPal link will be sent to each party. District 1 has a statutory mediation rate of $200 per hour. Our mediation will be rounded to the next fifteen minute interval. Once payments are made by each party a certificate of attendance will be electronically recorded with the Court and a Mediation Agreement will provided to you and your attorney.
